Rockie Fresh - Driving 88

Rockie dropped this off today, really liking what I hear. no wannabe hard rapper, just a kid from chicago talkin bout life. Some deep stuff woven into some of the songs, sorta like drake with the emotion in some of the tracks

Shakey Graves' Roll the Bones

Alejandro Rose-Garcia aka Shakey Graves is confusing. There is no information about him at all, anywhere. pretty crazy just like his music.
seems to have that old time style, but then again some songs seem a little more modern;
luckily, his acoustic guitar is the one constant. really liking it
check it out below and check out his facebook

New Cold War Kids

Thank God

cold war kids dropped these two songs out of nowhere, for free before their "Minimum Tour", just adding to my love for them. Got a chance to see them in Birmingham two years ago and it was the best show ive ever seen. These guys make some of the weirdest shit out there, but it works to perfection.

The two new tracks, "Minimum Day" and "Minimum Mistake", show two sides of cwk. "Minimum Day" seems to be more of their style, while "Minimum Mistake" is a slower, less flashy version of the same song.
Check out both tracks below and make sure to pick up their albums "Mine is Yours", "Loyalty to Loyalty", "Robbers and Cowards", and their EP "Behave Yourself", all amazing

New Finds: Electric Guest

Read up on these guys today on KCRW

"Despite being virtually unknown, they are one of the most promising unsigned bands in the world, aided by the fact that they're managed by Monotone Inc. (cold war kids, the shins, vampire weekend, jack white) and produced by Brain Burton (aka Danger Mouse)." Chris Douridas, KCRW

They recently dropped the video above to the song This Hand I Hold at the beginning of the year. Below are some of the older tracks; really like these guys, we will be hearing a lot more music from them in the future,
enjoy the session.

Roosh's Better Late Than Never

Roosh dropped this one yesterday during halftime of the National Championship.

"It's essentially a collection of features and songs I've done over time that haven't found a home so I figured I'd finally release them, hence the title "Better Late Than Never". It's a less serious, more fun side of my music and I do a fair share of shit-talking on this ho, just so you know."

like always, Roosh brings good, new music. like he says above, most tracks are features with other artists, and i have to admit, on some of these beats, i wish he could get another verse. excited to find some new favorite in this tape. find yours and show love at Roosh's facebook page.
enjoy the session
