Shakey Graves - Doe Jane
Shakey Graves' own explanation of the song, "Doe, Jane was written while I was holed up in Los Angeles waiting for the phone to ring. It is about the process of becoming domesticated and the fears associated with being tied to another.
The name actually comes from The Wire (which I was knee deep in at the time) and refers to the tag on an unidentified dead woman's toe."
